Cymbopogon citratus.

Born in Asia’s tropical rains, lemongrass has journeyed through centuries as both food and medicine. Embraced by Ayurveda, TCM, and herbalists, its citrus scent was used to dispel negativity, calm the mind, soothe digestion, and ease fevers. Today, it remains a symbol of tranquillity, balancing body and mind naturally.

 

 

Traditional uses: aid digestion, calm anxious minds, support sleep, combat infections, reduce fevers

Parts used: leaves, essential oil

Actions include: antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anxiolytic, analgesic, antipyretic, carminative, astringent, antimicrobial, antispasmodic
